Animo, has advanced to Stage 2 of the SPRIND EUDI Wallet competition with our Easy-PID project. This competition from SPRIN-D, an organisation that facilitates innovation and radical idea development, aims to develop cutting-edge European Digital Identity (EUDI) wallet prototypes for secure and user-friendly digital identity management. Selected from a competitive field, Animo now joins three other teams, receiving up to €300,000 in funding for this stage. Over the next three months, we will focus on issuing and presenting Electronic Attestations of Attributes (EAA) for enhanced digital identity verification and researching the best UX.
The solution in Stage 1 focused mostly on receiving a digital identity credential based on the German eID card. You can see the initial version of the application in our Demo Video.
Over the next months Animo will continue to build this open-source prototype in collaboration with the Potential Large Scale Pilot.
